Description
The layout branch of Hikari Literary is tasked to curate individual pages fitting the accepted submissions and fitting the Hikari aesthetic. As each page is designed, they are then combined together to make the following Literary issues.
Approach
As I design each page, I work to uphold the author's orginal meaning, while the magazine's flow flourishes within each page.
Each piece considers the topic and subject of the content. While implementing the basics of Hikari aesthetics and the visual imagery of what the content may imply. Utilizing tools from both Canva and Adobe Photoshop, I try to uphold these truths within my layout.

Description
As part of the Hikari Publicity team, every graphic is strategically designed to be visually appealing and reflect the identity and values of Hikari. We work to continuously promote the mission of Hikari, showcase young creatives work, and provide current announcements/updates, all through our visually pleasing graphics.
Approach
I aim to design graphics that engage Hikari's targeted audience by adding trendy visuals- from popular artists and a relevant color palette and design styles. Each graphic is curated using either Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop depending on the project's needs .
My main goal with my graphics is to maintain the Hikari brand while keeping each design fresh, appealing, and relevant to our current and prospective audience.
